About the Artist
Will Schippert, a landscape oil painter in the Post-Impressionist style, is a recognized resident of Grosse Pointe Park. Inspired by Van Gogh, he uses thick paint, intentional brush strokes, and local subject matter to create emotional masterpieces.
Will paints what he wants to see—using color and brushwork to transform reality, taking creative liberties to portray the best version of his subjects. He’s inspired by beautiful ideas and aims to evoke emotion through each piece.
